Keep beautiful hands smooth, soft, plumped, without hollows or spots.
With age, the skin on the back of the hands becomes thinner and more dehydrated. Grease tends to melt, veins and tendons are visible and brown spots appear. This chronic skin fragility and refinement syndrome is called “dermatoporosis”.
The skin of patients with dermatoporosis shows a strong reduction in the production of hyaluronic acid (HA). This molecule is essential for ensuring the viscoelasticity of the skin, in other words, for shock absorption and reconstitution. The challenge is therefore to overcome this deficiency, which worsens with age.
Various techniques are used to plump and moisturize the back of the hands:
Injections of hyaluronic acid
They allow a deep filling in order to erase hollows, mask visible veins and moisturize the skin.
This technique is painless because fine cannulas with foam tips are used that slide under the skin without damaging the tissue. The result is immediately visible and lasts about 1 year or more.
It consists of multiple injections of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid associated with vitamins and minerals with moisturizing and anti-oxidant properties. This technique improves the elasticity and tone of the skin.
It is generally practiced 3-4 sessions 15 days apart. This 2 or 3 times a year.
Laser or flash lamp
In order to fade brown spots, restore softness to the hands and obtain a tightening effect on the skin and thus erase the appearance of “wrinkled skin”, 1 to 2 laser sessions on the back of the hands are necessary.
The only precaution to be taken: do not expose the treated areas to the sun for 8 weeks after the treatment.
The peel is very suitable for the treatment of brown spots. It will also have the advantage of removing the “rough” appearance of the back of the hands.
The only precaution to be taken: do not expose the treated areas to the sun for 8 weeks following the treatment.
A second session can be performed 1 month later if necessary.
To maintain and prolong the effects of the care practiced, moisturizing and anti-aging cosmetics are recommended.
All of these techniques can be combined together for a complete rejuvenation of the hands, on the surface and in depth, in just a few sessions
